Gaming Marketing Specialist for Intel Indonesia Corporation

Job Description :
We are searching for a Gaming Marketing Specialist who has a passion for PC gaming and esports to drive our community management strategy for Intel Gaming. As a Gaming Marketing Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge of PC gaming, esports, and Intel hardware to engage with gamers in conversation, report on community sentiment, develop engaging community-oriented content for our social channels, build relationships with our community to develop advocates, and most importantly sharing your passion for gaming with the Intel Gaming community. The role will also entail gaming event project management and onsite support, plus liaison with key partners and stakeholders to deliver gaming campaigns via retail and channel partners. Provide marketing assistance to Country Marketing Managers and lead influencer campaign management.

Responsibilities :
Community Strategy, engagement, development, and reporting
-Partner with the marketing and social media lead to plan and execute the global community plans for Intel Gaming, develop community activations around key moments for Intel Gaming: campaigns, partner moments, and esports/consumer events
-Engage with the community daily maintaining a strong dialogue between our community, demonstrating a deep understanding, and appreciation for what makes gamers engage with Intel and other brands in the industry.
-Capture new audiences, make friends/followers/fans, create communities, and build relationships with Intel fans and influencers to cultivate advocates.
-Reconcile overlapping or competing social strategies and campaigns with a community-first perspective
-Partner with Intel’s global data and analytics team, APJ Centre of Excellence (CoE), and agency partners to ensure community insights and social listening are being properly reported on to help drive strategy alignment.
-Work with our agency to develop community reports; using social analytics tools to identify engagement opportunities, report on sentiment, and drive strategic feedback to internal stakeholders and be the voice of the community internally.
-Customer service: capability to answer higher level PC related questions about our products and general PC questions. Escalate any other issues to stakeholders or customer service teams.
-Gaming event support and project management to bring Intel Gaming presence to life at Intel or Intel sponsored events
-Collaboration and liaison with key partners and stakeholders to pull together Intel led gaming marketing campaigns

Social Media Management :
-Work with the regional social media lead to develop and execute the local social editorial calendar.
-Manage a detailed vision of the editorial strategy and positioning of Intel’s communities across @ handles and align communities to our target media audiences and business funnels
-Partner with the social media lead to develop engaging content for our social channels that drives conversation around gaming, esports and Intel Products.

-Support our software and hardware partnerships through social amplification, engagement, and co-marketing activations.
-Experiments with new production processes around new content types and styles
-Work with the social media lead to support real-time event coverage worldwide with real-time social media content curation, capture, and engagement with the community.
-Develop and maintain community management playbooks that will help guide our global teams on best practices and ways to engage with gamers on social.
-Be adept at social media monitoring, community management, and publishing content management system

Program management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
-Be aware of cross-company editorial and marketing plans
-Support brand and campaign efforts
-Work effectively with key partnership and content/marketing leaders across Intel
-Set up clear metrics, in cooperation with stakeholders, to evaluate the success at the outset. Drive program optimization for the content mix, formats, and distribution strategies

Skills for the role :
-More than 2 years of experience as a community manager/ managing marketing campaigns in the gaming industry preferred.
-You are a part of the gaming community: you share the same passion for PC gaming, hardware, and esports as our community.
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred
-Proven Collaboration Skills
-Ability to function in highly matrixed organization
-Experience with copywriting and ability to match the current tone of voice for Intel Gaming.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with attention to detail.
-Highly organized, with the ability to work with multiple teams, and geographies
-Self-motivated, detail oriented, team first mentality.
-Program/Project management is a requirement
-Understanding of competitor hardware and current landscape within the gaming community.
-Able to manage advocates and relationships with our community.
-Strategic and Creative thinker, able to present new ideas on how to drive our community efforts forward.
-Able to answer typical PC hardware related customer service questions.
-Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience with moderation tools.
-Experience with using social media analytics tools and developing reports for internal stakeholders.
-Experience with crisis management and developed mitigation strategies.
-Ability to provide examples of copy writing skills and samples of engaging content created for social media.
-Understanding of social media best practices. You also should have a strong social-first creative pulse on gaming trends and techniques that people are using to develop, and create content across social platforms
